| Still bloggingAs I look across my Xanga blog posts, every one of them seems to be a message to find me on a new blog. Well, I'm pleased to say that The Master's Table is doing quite nicely, and has been viewed over 36,000 times since May of 2008. I'm still there and will stay there. Clark Bunch's Weblog has changed title and format. My Other Blog is now the working title, and the theme and appearance have been drastically overhauled. The URL is still http://clarkbunch.wordpress.com, however. This blog is for fun stuff - videos, pictures from around the net, and news blogging - plus a journal of what's going on in mine and Teresa's world. The Journal page keeps readers up to date, but that's not why most people surf in. | | |
| The Master's TableMy last Xanga entry directs people to my "new" blog at Wordpress, Clark Bunch's Weblog. Since May of 2008, all of my theology blogging has been at The Master's Table. Clark Bunch's Weblog still exists, but I don't use it for much. It is something of an online journal, relegated to the occassional Youtube video or what's up in my life journal entry. The Master's Table went online in May, and is up to about 18,500 views. I'm trying to focus exclusively this month on blogging Advent and Christmas, but that could change. My friends that left Xanga for MySpace have since quit MySpace for a host of sites, including Face Book, Tagged, Bebo, and I don't know what all else. I don't even bother. I refuse to start up a new social networking site every 6 months just because a new one is cool right now. When I joined Xanga (2005) it was all the rage, and every high school student I knew was getting one and told me I should too. Quite a few people are still on MySpace, but I think I've outgrown it. My wife is excited about Face Book, and wants me to start a profile there also. I already have a Xanga and a MySpace I never do anything with, why do I need another? The truth is I enjoy blogging. Wordpress is for writers that love to write, MySpace is for playing silly little games. I've been married for over 11 years, I don't need to know how many people have a crush on me. | | |
| WordpressI mentioned that I had a new blog on Wordpress. Well, it's really taking off since my last Xanga post. There are several essays, debates with atheists/agnostics, and I'm up to almost 900 views just in the last 5 weeks. I've had a MySpace for a year and half and only have 650 views over there. Traffic was never the point, but clarkbunch.wordpress I want people to see. Read all posts titled "Jesus' Example," those are the best.

| Remeber Xanga? It's been a while since I used Xanga. My last post was to redirect folks to MySpace. Xanga sent me an e-mail saying they missed me. It's changed a lot here. Xanga is actually pretty cool now. Maybe we shouldn't have all bailed out like we did. I'm posting this on the off chance some friends still subscribe to my blog, and have their old e-mail accounts still in service. You can find me at www.myspace.com/clarkjbunch these days. I have several family and freinds listed as contacts there. I also have a new blog at www.clarkbunch.wordpress.com for posting essays on religion and theology. There's not much there yet, I'm working on it. So if you happen to come by, that's what's up. And if you hadn't come by, you would never have seen this, would ya'? Duh! | | |
| MySpaceLike the rest of my friends, I created a myspace and don't use this xanga site anymore. To check up on me, go to www.myspace.com/clarkjbunch I liked xanga just fine, but everyone else was bailing out. | | |
