| | My last Xanga entry directs people to my "new" blog at Wordpress, Clark Bunch's Weblog. Since May of 2008, all of my theology blogging has been at The Master's Table. Clark Bunch's Weblog still exists, but I don't use it for much. It is something of an online journal, relegated to the occassional Youtube video or what's up in my life journal entry. The Master's Table went online in May, and is up to about 18,500 views. I'm trying to focus exclusively this month on blogging Advent and Christmas, but that could change. My friends that left Xanga for MySpace have since quit MySpace for a host of sites, including Face Book, Tagged, Bebo, and I don't know what all else. I don't even bother. I refuse to start up a new social networking site every 6 months just because a new one is cool right now. When I joined Xanga (2005) it was all the rage, and every high school student I knew was getting one and told me I should too. Quite a few people are still on MySpace, but I think I've outgrown it. My wife is excited about Face Book, and wants me to start a profile there also. I already have a Xanga and a MySpace I never do anything with, why do I need another? The truth is I enjoy blogging. Wordpress is for writers that love to write, MySpace is for playing silly little games. I've been married for over 11 years, I don't need to know how many people have a crush on me. |
